It does not mean God, parents, authority figures such as teachers , etc are to love innappropriate behavior and if people do this are they really exhibiting leadership? It does not mean get rid of the word wrong enabling us to call everything right so "having your cake and eating it too" becomes convenient. It means we are not to hate - people - only innappropriate behavior and if we don't do this what happens? If it's ok for someone else to do it then it's ok for me to do it...boils down to caving to peer pressure doesn't it?

I think that unconditional love is understanding, patient. Not forgiving of anything, but understanding why and so able to accept any bad behavior. I think that it is to love with out holding back, and to love with your whole self. To love and be totally centered on something that has nothing to do with you, your wants, or your needs. It is the Mom that stays up all night just to cook and clean for her family. It is the dad who comes home from four days of twelve hour shifts, and in stead of relaxing or going to bed he goes to his childs soccer game. It is to be selfless, and accepting that the person will have flaws, but to be selfless anyway.

I love my dog unconditionally. I will always care for her
I show her my affection I give her attention I groom her and I keep her water fresh and her dish full and her wee wee pads clean and dry . I take her out and put a sweater on her if it is cold and I got her a raincoat and sunglasses and many hairbows . I take her to the vet and I trained her so she is a fine pet and a total Joy
