Everyday I sleep until 7:00 in the morning. I can’t seem to sleep. I have sleep medicine but I don’t take it because I know I will fall fast asleep. But I have fear of sleeping for some reason. Is it normal to feel this way and also not to sleep until 7:00 in the morning?

Do you have a lot of anxiety or fear? Are you depressed? This could affect your ability to sleep or want to sleep. Even if you are able to get into a routine of sleeping at night instead of during the day, if you're anxious and depressed, sleep problems may continue to plague you. Good luck, and try to let that body rest. If this is a new problem or one you've never discussed with a doctor, I would seek medical help.

if you're working overnight then it would be normal. but saying that you can't sleep and afraid to sleep seems to be a psychological problem. And i think that's the other reason why you don't want to take the meds for sleeping.
I would suggest to see a doctor about this problem. He/She would be better in giving you advice with this matter.

This is not normal to go too bed at 7AM. You need some stronger sleeping pills.
