if you saw someone being attacked would you help? if you saw someone vandalising would you stop them. answer honestly

I would automatically help anyone being attacked by another person or persons. I just wouldn't be able to help myself. I'd be thinking 'that person could be my brother/sister/mum/dad' etc. My own safety wouldn't even be thought about.
Regarding the vandalism - sorry but no I wouldn't get involved unless there were others around me.

If the person being attacked was someone I cared about yes,if the proberty being vandalised was mine or someone I care abouts yes.
Otherwise no I'd get out of sight then call the police.It's not worth dying to save the life or property of a stranger or someone you don't like.

Depends on if I could do anything to help. I've broken up fights, but only fist fights. Even then I've thought twice about it for fear of being sued. If I'm gonna get shot, then no, I will summon a professional with a gun.
I see vandalism daily. I choose not to intervene because it makes me so angry that I would surely murder the vandal with my bare hands. Los Angeles is a lost cause I'm afaid.

It would depend on the size of the people attacking someone as you dont wanna be killed yourself but two years ago me and a mate came out of a club and went to get some food round the corner where three blokes were kicking the shite out of one bloke... We jumped in, threw the blokes off without throwing a punch or getting thumped. It might be because we are both in our 30's and they were only about 20 years old and they were a little smaller.

I used to do this in school when I was a teacher ( getting the odd bruise and many obscenities as a reward), but I think I would be very wary of intervening in the street nowadays. I'd be more likely to phone for help, or yell at a safe distance!

i have done in the past. I once saw a man beating up his girlfriend and i stopped him. I guess it depends on the look of the aggressors. If i thought they might turn on me, i'd think twice. However, if there are lots of people about to help me, i might do

It would of course depend on the circumstances, but I suspect in most cases where I was on my own I wouldn't, for fear of personal injury: I'm not a very physical sort of person, and it's about picking battles you can win. I wouldn't ignore it, though - I'd call the police, or something.

the best way I could or was capable of. Even hollering FIRE!!! can get people's attention.
