I have just found out im expecting, but I have been having a lot of discharge. Mostly in the mornings it tends to be thicker then during the day it becomes more like liquid, is this normal. I do walk my my son to school every morning. It does tend to be more yellow in the mornings then mostly white/clear later on. should i see my doctor?

are you absolutey sure your are pregnant?

Well, having had 4, I would not worry, It seems to be just the "plug" forming, and passing, at your strage, normal, but mention it to your midwife. If blood appears, or kinda pink, or worse, then definately get medical advice. Go on the fact that all females change the discharege according to the hormones going through thier body. Really tho' if ever you are unsure, ask your Midwife/ GP/ NHSDIRECT.COM. Whoever you maybe, your health and that of your baby are paramount.

I'm reallly not that sure, you should see your doctor though just in case it is anything serious but considering it is white/yellow i think that is the normal colour for discharge, but still see you r doctor.

Im pregant at the mo n have been having very dark brown discharge i am scared and have a doctor appointment on fri so i'll let you know what he said.

I wouldn't worry too much. I had same sort of discharge with both my pregnancies. But it's always best to check about these things. Why not call your midwife she will probably be able to help you. or advise you to see your doctor.

congratulations by the way

Here's good website to look at. It explains discharge as an early pregnancy symptom. Good luck!

Have you been to the doctors to confirm your pregnancy? They normally test you for things to make sure that you haven't got anything that could affect your baby. I would book an appointment and discuss this with your doctor.

yes its normal thicker discharge continues throughout pregnancy, the only time you should be concerned is if there itchiness, which could be thrush or if theres blood as well, hope that puts your mind at rest
