Depends on what his skills, qualifications and legal status to work in Canada are. If he's not allowed to work in Canada yet, then the prospects are not good at all.

In Vancouver BC, there is a lot of construction going on right now. If he is qualified in any of the construction trades, prospects are good.

Alberta has a lot of jobs as well, but the cost of living is a little higher and I'm told that finding an apartment can be hard.

Where is your Uncle going to be moving to or where has he moved to? Canada is a very, very big country.

You can check out the website www.monster.ca for listing of jobs in Canada. He can also check out the local newpapers.

Another place to start asking is around his own community. What I mean by that is, if he is going to be living near or with people from his homeland, he can ask them if anyone they work for is hiring.
