For most people it makes them tired, but I have know cases where it can make you hyper...or give you restless leggs.

Restless legs are a muscle issue. There is a book called The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies that explains muscles, pain and referred pain that would be a good resource for you. It has a 75% success rate for teaching you how to stop your self from being in pain (that is what pins and needles are).

Doesn't for me. I took it for allergies and it automatically knocked me out for a good 8 hours.
