in computers - let's set it up
your hard drive - is your filing cabinet
your RAM - is your dining room table ( the more you have - the more files you can spread out)
your cache is the measure of how quickly you can get the files
from the filing cabinet to the dining room table - and put back again - how big is the 'pipe' ?
hope this helps!

Different translations of the bible would suggest love and charity are synonmus. Examples found in.1st Corrinthians ch. 13 vs. 1-17 illustrate this many times. I would enjoy hearing from a scholar of the languages used in those past times to clarify my understanding. The story of the "World's Poorest Philanthropist", Gilbert "Harold" Ewing II (myself) is the reason for this querry. The " act of grace", or charity, reffered to in the news interview, has posited this question and I lack the sort of education to provide any insights of true value.

Storage area in a general English; with computers, "buffer" would have better describe the items in computers that we call cache.

In computer terms, something that is stored so that further access is much faster, such as web site caching. Your computer saves the web page so it doesn't have to go fetch it again.
