You can.

Doesn't mean you should.

One thing these liberals don't understand is that just as I have a right to protest & express my offense at your choice of words, I ALSO have a right to protest & express my offense at the liberal's words.

Yet we have seen many (not all) liberals try to say we don't have a right to critisize what they say, as if they are the only ones who are allowed free speech.

Freedom of speech goes both ways.

What is your problem other than being numb?

I don't disrespect our troops!

You and your ilk disrespect the troops!

Bush wanted to cut Combat Pay

Bush cut widows benefits from $25,000 a year to $13,000!

Bush cut the Veterans Hospitals by 100 BILLION starting in 2006 while we have had 47,000 wounded, with 25,760 air evacuated back to the US. Many are due to IEDs and many are missing limbs! If Bush cares for them so much, why did he cut the very places that are going to provide a bulk of their care?

I don't think you have a clue what you are talking about!

And only you would come up with that word!

As much as I disagree with your derogatory term, of course you can. The argument presented about yelling fire is a bit misleading. The Supreme Court ruled that while speech was "free" speech intended to cause harm was not. Thus, yelling fire in a crowded theater [when in fact none existed] could cause death or serious bodily harm, whilst your using an expletive only harms yourself.

Swiftboat veterans = no unfastened speech 7. Ketchup Prince can call our troops infant killers

You mean like Kerry calling the troops, "...stupid", or saying they support the troops and then call them 'baby killers'!
Free speech doesn't mean you can yell "fire" in a crowded theatre. It means you have the right to express your perspective on subjects using the words you have chosen.

Free speech means that you can say anything you are willing to stand behind, in any place that allows it. Luckily for me, forums like Yahoo!Answer *do* allow debate over topics like, oh, the future of our country (go figure), and yet tends to frown on their forums being used for petty, cowardly racism. Unluckily for you.

I concur. It's only free speech if it's in line with their own views.

There is no greater disrespect to show our troops than make them fight in a war that is a fascist lie.

You cannot yell "FIRE" in a theatre! Your logic is pure sophistry.
Your very premise is invalid therefore your conclusion is erroneous and indicates a less than mature and unprepared for deductions individual.
