You are right .. Are we ashamed to say it in Hindi? Or do we think that we are here to impress?
And how many Indians really understand the language leave alone the very few ...the masses I mean.
And nowadays have you seen how the lyrics from film songs are more English than Indian...Have they run out of steam , There is hardly any song that is in Hindi ...either English or Arabic or I do not know what, and what music ...Oh hell! The Reshamiyas, the discos, and what do they sing .. we cannot understand the true message of such songs...why include such rubbish in Indian films ...better scrap them altogether... noise and unintelligible words ...dare they call that music and lyrics ? Did you hear I see you songs, Guru etc
They speak English only to show off! To belittle those who do not understand the language!

Because there are more people watching who can understand English than Hindi.

The very idea about film is imported from West. Peoples involved are aware that real purchasing capacity is in the hands of few who know English

the reason fro this could be people may not be knowing Hindi as fluent as English coz they have been learning it since their childhood.
and also it is the language which is commonly understood by every person among them

while british people ruled over us they left an impact on us.Now-a-days Indian people think speaking english as being at very great status.Usually its nowadays people thinking that speaking english reflects a person having a great persona.We can just call it as a NEW TREND....
