An unborn baby is only a POTENTIAL human , not a fully developed human being. A foetus can not survive without a womb. It is not an independent life, so therefore an unborn baby has NO quality of life because it is not autonomous yet of it's mother's central nervous system..how can an unborn life that has no quality of life or determination or reasoning capacity have any CIVIL LIBERTY?

It's like saying a malignant brain tumour at the centre of my cerebral cortex has civil liberties. Ridiculous. An unborn baby is, essentially, a parasite, just like a cancer cell that invades and feeds off of other cells in order to survive.

My toenail clippings are human. Are you going to save the 'life' of my toenail clippings, too, by passing a law to stop people from trimming the 'life' out of their toenail clippings?

When I get a haircut, I'm killing the life of some of my hair. My hair is a living thing. Are you going to march down the street to protect the right for the hair on my head to 'live'?

Because conservatives also fight the distribution of PRE conception birth control methods, thus making pregnancy realistically (not ideologically, realistically) inevitable?

Because prior to 12 weeks there is no brain wave pattern, thus meaning that by every definition, it is just tissue?

Because that prior to the formation of the Sacred Sperm doctrine [butt of many jokes after Monty Python's wonderful skit of the same name] Roman Catholics did not forbid abortion prior to the 12th week?

Because that, from a literalist perspective (I am not a literalist) the OT God commands abortion under certain circumstances and himself supports the death of women pregnant of the wrong men and even infanticide? (Hosea 9:11-16, Numbers 5:11-21, Numbers 31:17, Hosea 13:16, 2 Kings 15:16, 1 Samuel 15:3, Psalms 135:8 & 136, Psalms 137:9)

On the other hand, why do Conservatives (I won't sink to using word play like I did when I was 8 or 9 as you did in the original) want to DENY the CIVIL RIGHTS of groups of ALREADY BORN people?

There are different kinds of liberals. While most are pro-choice, there are several who are not. Abortion is an issue that isn't black and white. No one is excited or happy to get an abortion, but some people don't have the choice. The foster care system is underfunded, and some people are pregnant with children who have severe mental or physical handicaps which would lead them to not have a fair chance at finding a home. Others are pregnant due to rape and incest. Some people are stupid and abuse abortion laws, but you can rest assured that the majority of women who get abortions would rather not, and are forced to as a last resort. Abortion is not like a condom or a morning after pill, but a tragic last resort for countless women. If we take it away, the unborn children might be left to crueler fates (such as coat hanger abortions, abadonement, or left to die in overcrowded orphanages.) Liberals who support abortion are trying to protect the mothers, and in a way, support mercy killing rather than flat-out, cold-blooded murder.

enable's provide all unborn toddlers civil rights! Screw it if the mummy dies simply by fact of scientific issues screw her civil rights. Screw it if the mummy became into raped and her civil rights have been taken removed from her, how costly she have any civil rights! perchance the unborn toddlers might desire to get themselves a stable lawyer!!! Now if those unborn toddlers are certainly toddlers then why are not there extra funerals them? do no longer they deserve the comparable form of scientific care the different member of the kin might have? it relatively is in basic terms a baby if one would not miscarry? or republicans don't have many miscarries! If republicans prefer to function extra validity to there argument of unborn baby then they might desire to start burying their miscarries seeing because it relatively is a life!

Oh Brother. Liberals don't want to deny any rights to anyone, that's why women have the RIGHT to choose. I personally don't like abortion (I feel too often it is used as a contraceptive) but I'm a man and I certainly am not going to dictate to woman what she can do to herself. Now while were on the subject allow me to ask you, why do Conservatives want to deny civil rights to a child of Jehovah's Witnesses. Why allow a child to die because their parents want to 'exercise' their religious right to deny a child a much needed blood transfusion. Answer that and you will come to understand nothing is as black and white as you wish it were.
