I work in the hotel industry and I like working at resorts and want to move again. But I have a close friend who is going through a lot and I feel bad about abdoning him in his time of need. I've been there since day one for him. I have no idea when it will be all over. I found a job I want to apply for and I really want to move again but I don't know what to do. I know he would be sad to see me go but would tell me I need to live my life and do what I want. What should I do?

Is it TOO FAR away to see other other occasionally. You could stay in contact on-line and see each other during holidays, etc...
The most important thing is living your life; not just his.

It's honarable that you're putting your Friendships above your own needs. But you do have to take care of #1. Or you'll be in the same state. Good Luck on your choices. Atlanta, is a very good place to relocate to. We'd love to have you.

It is good that you think of your friend, BUT you have to look towards your own happiness...

Apply for the job... And see what happens... You might not get the job...

You can keep in touch with your friend by phone or email...

Time to flip a coin. You've got to weigh his happiness vs. yours. What's more important to you?
