Yes but then there would be more people on the road killing each other in rage and there would be no Hollywood. Overall though I think it would be.

Someone that didn't want to get hit with a club, sword or Axe. The weapons change people don't. Ancient man killed just as many with their weapons as modern man does today. Look at history and count the dead in one day during the Greeks wars with Persia.

A lot of people would lose their jobs. If the government banned weapons they better have jobs waiting for those in manufacturing who will lose their jobs. And if there are no jobs for them, we will have more poverty in the world. There has been war since the dawn of civilization and our technology has progressed a lot since then. It's sad to say that the world will never be without war. I may sound pessimistic but it's true.

didn't you read previous history...what was the world before invented mass destructions weapons...even then all the nations had been fought against each other.
