I may not be snowing any time soon, but you can expect it to be fairly cold. Around 10 to 20 F degrees, but then expect it to feel much colder, in the negatives. The wind is normally pretty strong there and it's right next to a large lake. So I'd say a hat, gloves, a coat, and at least some layers.

Wear all of the above, but add a hat, or better yet a coat with a hood, which usually doesn't mess up hair as bad and will keep your neck and chest warmer. The wind really blows between the buildings, making it seem colder. If you have a long coat, that will be better than a short one. Today we are excited because it might get up to 10 degrees today. This morning my hair froze when I ran out to start my car, which took less than a minute. This week is colder than normal, but even if it's 20 degree out you will still want the above mentioned items. And if it warms up enough to melt the snow, you will want to wear something to protect your feet from the black salty slush that will be everywhere you step.

It's really cold, nights are like -10 and it's about -2 today. It'll snow this week. I don't know where you live but if it's not alaska or canada you'll surelly need ear muffs, scarf, hat, boots and a few layers!!!.

It all depends. Chicago is a strange city for weather. One moment its nice outside and you can go inside a buidling to shop or something. Once you have come out it could be snowing.

Oh, everybody stop acting like babies! It's no big deal. Dress warm, put on a hat and gloves and get out there. I'm sure that's what Shakelton's men said when he led them on the arctic expedition: "Whaaaaa.... Mr. Shakelton, it's too cold out there in the frozen tundra. We don't wanna go, Whaaaaaa!!!"
