I know it's not Los Angeles, from experience. I can't stand phony, stuck up people. Tell me why you feel the people are very real, and give some examples, if possible.

Portland, Oregon
Because people are more laid-back and not always trying to impress everyone else all of the time. Portland has a very diverse community that is very acccepting and motivates its inhabitants to be the same. I never saw so many people trying to help each other out and better the lives of others in the community. It's a great place to live!

I think it might be Chicago, I lived there for a couple years and it's a unique place because even though it's a big city, a lot of the people are still very friendly and much more real than other places. maybe cause it's in the midwest.
