Some say it will be Russell and some say Quinn. Who do you think the Raiders will choose? I would take Quinn because mobile quarterbacks have not had much success in the NFL, so I think Quinn (the pocket passer) is the safer option. What about you?

The smart move is quinn. They will get stuck with a michal vick if they choose russel.

Well there both stupid, Troy Smith will go 2nd round or later! The Raiders are gonna hands down take Russel, any other team probably Quinn becuase hes the NFL ready QB. But Al Davis has a love for QB's who can run and gun. A sad mistake on his part but It'll be Russell

It's too soon to tell but I have to go with Jamarcus Russell the 6'6" 255 pound beast. Lane Kiffin the Oakland Raiders coach, said that he wants a powerful, explosive offense. I don't know what kind of offense he will put in but explosive and powerful may mean throwing the long ball. With weapons like Randy Moss and Jerry Porter considering they stay, Jamarcus Russell would be a better fit for this offense. Brady Quinn is a great player no doubt but after a mediocre showing in the Sugar Bowl and his withdrawal from the Senior Bowl, he's been slipping. He gotta show what he can do in the NFL Combine and the pro workouts. If Moss is gone though it might trigger a Calvin Johnson pick but as of now I gotta go with Russell.

I think the Raiders will keep the #1 pick and take Calvin Johnson
yeah their QB situation is bad, but they're not going to have Moss or Porter next year. As bad as the QB situation is, I think they draft a QB in the 2nd round, sign a veteran to help them through the season and draft C Johnson with the #1 pick
besides, he is the best player in the draft
and no way in hell will they take Troy Smith

the winning ones anyhow , in the NFL is very tall.

well the raiders need help in all areas, troy smith will be lucky to make the draft 3rd round prob, but if i was the raiders id take Peterson for Rb but if i had to take QB it would be Quinn
