God does not instruct a person to do something. It is up to the person to choose what is right or wrong.

That's a ridiculous thing to say. Why would God want to cut off your legs or ruin America?
God will elevate America above all nations on earth in the battle to come. This will happen after a period of turmoil begun 6 years ago and soon to be over.

If God really did ask me that question and really said something like that, then I would ask for alot of friggin pain killers and I would let a doctor do it then I would get some prostetic legs all because I love America and it would be a small sacriface on my part to save a beautiful country.

God??? God???? Would god say such a thing???? John Adams said , when he was running for president after Washington, "if we would wrap the intestines of the pope {god} around the throat of the monarch {king of england} then America would be free." More people have died in the name of god than for any other reason. Shias fighting sunnis----jews fighting islams----christians fighting everyone, etc, etc....Think about it...

My God would not ask that of me. The sacrifice has been made. If America implodes it will be because of a lack of leadership, over use of our resources, lack of planning as far as handling of rampant diseases such as AIDS, Avian flu, or one that hasn't been experienced yet, economic depression because of a series of terrorist nuclear attacks, or because the will of the people is so downtrodden that they refuse to participate in elections that would change our form of government into a dictatorship. God would also have a hand in our fate if we no longer believe and trust in Him. It would be a matter of hearts, not legs.
