i know im opening up a huge can of worms, but i'd also like to here what you people think. Both my brother and i have Wiis and my bro wants to save up for a 360, so what i want to know is which system is better in regards to multiplayer, gameplay, and all around general features. pesonally i think the Wii kicks everyone elses *** but i'd like to know what other people think.

I own both the Wii as well as the Xbox 360.
In regards of local multiplayer (i.e. you and your friends are in front of the same console) the Wii is by far the best investment. Get Wario Ware Smooth Moves, and up to 12 people can play a multiplayer game and have the fun of their lives.
However in online play the Xbox has the best Matchmaking Service I've ever seen.
On the Wii you need friend codes and whatnot to get your multiplayer game going, like on the Nintendo DS.
On the Xbox you connect to Xbox Live, and depending on your skill in a game, you will get players that match your skill. Without any codes. However, Xbox Live costs money.

It depends on how serious of a gamer you are. If your really casual, take the Wii. It's the cheapest and the whole family can enjoy it, even your grandma! If your more serious though, I'd get the PS3 (my personal choice). It comes at a hefty price, but it's worth it. If you feel somewhere in between, the 360 is good.

if cost isn't an issue get the 64Gb Ps3. The Wii is revolutionary and the 360 has crazy graphics, but the PS3 has out of this world graphics, great sound, and if you have a hi-def t.v., it's even better

I think the Wii is the best. It is fun, unique, and the whole family can enjoy. And I think the games are more fun.
