Both at the club(team) level and national teams.
As far as important leagues(club) are concerned
www.eurosport.com is great and so is www.uefa.com
Eurosport will have all sports coverage in Europe(Europe's version of ESPN essentially)
UEFA is the European branch of FIFA
But its under football. It will have extensive coverage of the England Premier League, Spain's La Liga, Germany's Bundesliga and Italy's Serie A and French Ligue 1. Good luck!
