i have a windows 98 se pc ... i've got a wespro wk512f mp3 player but no driver cd has been provided with it ... can someone suggest a driver for it ... or if someone has a similar device ... can you send me your driver plz ...
plz help ... without it my player is completely useless ...

yes .. my mp3 player also works as a usb pen drive. bt the driver you specified does not work ... i do not hav any other usb device but i dont know what cmos is ... any help is appreciated

Nothing on Microsoft or Driverguide about Wespro or the model number. It 'should' plug in and be seen by Windows... you need something like a usb storage driver to help your computer see it.

You might want to try the driver on this page
http://www.driverzone.com/device.php?id=18571
to allow it to show up as a storage device so you can open it and drag/drop your files in and out as you wish.

Also, IF you have no other USB devices, you may want to restart and enter your CMOS to see if USB could be disabled on your motherboard. (just experienced this problem on a computer last week... enabled it and worked perfect afterwards)
