No. Police would only look at the outside not the inner mind. They see one person no matter how many imagined personalities the person may have.
It's still a tragedy. Even more tragic if some of the personalities still wanted to live. But if they were strong enough perhaps they could have stopped the one suicidal personality from destroying himself (& the rest of them).
