there are wildflowers... north of palmdale/lancaster way... thousands of people go to see the fields... and there are growers in carlsbad that have fields of beautiful flowers blooming around april... we ride the scoots to both!!!

I've never seen any, alas. There used to be vast citrus groves and strawberry fields before it all got "developed" into houses when the land got expensive. All kinds of lemons and orange groves everywhere, and avocado trees...it was a paradise...WAS.

none that i have ever heard of, but their are lovely mountain sides covered in wild flowers come spring, and in early summer. going up the 5 fwy.
