Its about ants and I saw it when I was like 8 or 9 so we are talking late eighties early nineties. The main ant goes to a cermony to get his "cabump", I think thats was what it was called. But he doesn't get his and everyone else does. The "cabump" signifies that they are adult and what job they should be doing. Its basically and bump on their butts. I remember bits and pieces of the movie and its driving me crazy trying to remember it.

best guess would be probably either "Antz" OR ... "A Bug's Life"; I've only seen a little of either movie with my nieces/nephew... but the time frame 80s - 90s would be about right....
