scenario goes like this.we met online on the site called TAGGED., back in SWEET November 2006. It felt like love...still love him, but today , I checked his tagged page and there on his page he has added a guy ..so I check out the guys page and see that he is all about the gay factor with explicit video on front page of 2 guys making out. I see dozens of guys on his" added list of friends page" dressed in not much of anything and all are good looking and there is my guys picture there in amongst the rest of the men. All along he has professed to me that he is straight and has never been with a guy. I am hurt and angry and as a result, i sent him off an email saying that i saw him there on this guys page and kept asking WHY? WHY? WHY? i await a reply .I have him blocked from my messenger now.I am too angry and hurt to be video chatting with him. We were making plans to meet by the end of 2007. So much for internet romances ...4 months to find this out...what do you think ? is he Bi ?

I think that on the internet you can be anyone you want to be.

Well you didn't do yourself any favours by working on your over-reaction. There could be a perfectly reasonable explanation (e.g. this gay friend is a family member, schoolfriend, work colleague) it doesn't automatically mean that your boyfriend is gay/bi.

You might wish to calm down a little and apologise for getting all wound up about it. Then perhaps you two can have a conversation (IM/E-mail/Phone) and you can ask him, if he's sure that you're the girl for him?

As it stands, even if he should be bi/bi-curious, if I were he I wouldn't touch you with a barge pole - you've come across as neurotic (and not just upset).

First off, I wanna say that this isn't as weird as it probably looks to you. ONE, you may be completely wrong, and some of his friends are just gay. TWO, so what if he is BI, that's completely normal, and shouldn't be a reason that you would stop talking to him. If you kept asking him WHY WHY WHY, he probably feels really bad about himself, which is something you shouldn't make him feel like. You say this...
"All along he has professed to me that he is straight and has never been with a guy."
Did he really actually come up and tell you, "i've never been with another guy", if I were trying to act straight, that would be something I would never say, because it should be a given... but it's not always a given.

My advice to you is to unblock him. Talk to him about it. Yes, if he's BI, he's been lieing to, but that's one of those things that usually should come up at the right time. I say give him a chance to explain himself, and if you can get over your homophobia (not trying to sound mean) you should be able to still potentially date this guy.

Well...he could be bi...or...just maybe likes the attn.?.....I have many bi female friends who happen to prefer relationships with women, but like the sex with men too. They hit on me all the time and I do flirt back with them (to a point) and we're in each others networks at my chat site...and they are on my messenger lists (yahoo/msn) ....but they know the line and never cross that. I'm straight and they respect that, as I respect their preferences, it doesn't stop them from flirting though, and me flirting back...lol...it's all in fun and hurts no one.
