There are several types of couple dances that are popular. The main groups are Ballroom and Nightclub. Merengue and Bachata are nightclub dances. Some dance studios teach them, but you can also learn them at nightlubs - often they offer a lesson before the dancing starts. Jive is part of Latin Ballroom, International style. they're both fairly common yet i do not imagine you'll hit upon a highway that do not have bachata. dominicans dance bachata the right way so it is no longer as ordinary because the western sort that different hispanics dance. merengue is rather ordinary and also you'll capture on to it very truly.
