My favorite proposal was from my present day husband, when 13 years ago, on Christmas Eve, we were opening our presents and the last gift I opened was a big heavy box...
I couldn't imagine what it was, so I opened it and inside were several old books, and I thought they were like antique or valuable, and I said to my boyfriend, wow these are some nice books...
He told me to look inside one of them...
There I found a ring with a note that asked if I would marry him...
Well heck, it was Christmas Eve, was I going to say no at that time???
Of course not...
I said yes and we were married the next year on New Years Eve so we could start the new year out together...

Him throwing me a BIG birthday party and then in the middle of the party , him getting down on 1 knee in front of everyone and asking me to marry him, with a beautiful ring!!!!
