You possess lot of humor. What you have said is a very practical observation. You seem to be a keen observer. Theoretically, artificiality is a model of Perfectness. Model is a partial and summarized form of something. Since, man's observation can only efficiently work by models. Therefore, models are very important.
On the other hand, Perfect always implies completeness. Hence, you will always find artificiality in who ever tries to become perfect.

If someone spends a lot of time to make everything perfect, its a person with psychiatric problems. Those persons not necessarily like artificial things. For instance, the cake must be perfect, but no candy store cake ("artificial") is acceptable.

Perfect is a state in which something is precise to it's nature. A perfect piece of maple hardwood, a perfect day, the perfect dinner... Precise to what it is.

Keep a perfect house, it is precise, everything is where it belongs and how it belongs. Artificial is precise for obvious reasons. Machine measured and made, and correct in every part. True perfection is much harder to obtain or achieve.

There is no such thing really as perfect.......not even artificial things.
Perfect is a term that exists only in the mind, such as infinite; It's not existent in the Universe.
So I don't think perfection equals artificial.
