You failed to realize the amp he has is too much for those subs to hadle. You also have no clue what a DVC (dual voice coil) is and is very apparent in your description of how to wire the subs.

Just so you know, this is how two DVC subs are wired to a mono amp http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j230/sparky3489/PARALLEL-SERIES.jpg

In fact, if your going to answer questions in the car audio section that involve detailed instruction, you'd better learn the basics yourself as you will cause someone some serious damage to their system by not fully understanding the dynamics of car audio.

Best- My plan was taking me way over in cost. The representative realized that what I thought I had, I did not. He changed my plan and got an okay to reduce my bill. (6 years ago.)
Worst- The record showed that I had been paying the bill with my checking account for someone else every month for about two years. I called to pay and they would not let me pay because I did not know the person's last four digits! They kept going on and on about not giving me anyone's information about the account. I never asked for any information. Did not need any information. I just wanted to make the payment! All they had to do was take my info and pay the bill! They were so moronic!

hands down verizon is the worst. they are over priced and over rated. i had a 2 year contract with them under some one elses name. they were acutly aware of this fact. grant it i had no credit esablished but i did pay them on time for two years. they saw all the money came out of me. they refused to give me a new cell phone contract when the other one was up. keep in mind i had paid several 400 dollar bills with these people. then to add insult to injury i originally purchased my cell phone in connecitcut. when i moved out here to florida i needed to get my phone fixed because it had a one year warentee on it. they refused to fix the phone on me. i finally gave up and bought one off a friend of mine which still had a warentee on it. i repeatedly had to keep arguing with them to fx the phone because they had told me it was a defected model in which they no longer sell. their minute plans suck and i hate verizon. i will never go to them again. the good thing is we went to t moble. they have good customer care, their prices are more then reasonable. and after you are with them for a year they offer you a favorite 5 plan. their minutes can not be beaten by any other cell company but metro pcs. how ever metro pcs sucks in reception. it would be nice if t moble offered roll over minutes as well but hey you can't always get what you want right?
