It all depends on what kind of music and how difficult the song is to sing. By sheer numbers alone, Elvis Presley takes the cake. On another level and type of music, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, or Dean Martin is known as a great singer. There's Caruso or Luciano Pavarotti in opera and Hank Williams or Willie Nelson or Merl Haggard in male country singers. Female singers Barbara Streisand, Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin and it goes on and on. Everyone is different and has a different notion of who is the best. I think as far as what you hear more than anyone else in film is probably Dean Martin or Frank Sinatra. I am partial to the singing of Bonnie Tyler and Rod Stewart but that's just me.
All of these people were given a great gift. Some have abused it and some haven't. The ability to sing is a wonderful gift from God.

For each there own. Stevie Wonder is up there for sure but there is so many talented artist out there that its almost impossible to pick one. How about Elvis, Nat king Cole, Barry White, Mariah, Whitney, Dillion, Patsy Cline, even that Jackson guy.
