i couldnt agree with you more, its real sad also that it has such an affect on young minds, its a shame they dont use tv for good insted of evil, i hope more people wake up a realize this just like you did.

I'm with you. It is a huge waste of time to sit there and watch the thing, when you could be doing so much more.
I don't watch any shows, a rerun of Friends here and there, thats about it. And people are so astonished when they ask, "oh, did you see Lost?" and I tell them I don't watch tv, like I'm a freak or something.
Sorry, life's too short to sit there and stare at a box.

It only brainwashes the person if that person lets it!!!! We know guns and killings are wrong...t.v. does not make you do that!! I grew up just fine watching t.v. ...I am now a mother of 2...a 8 yr old daughter and a 1 yr old son and i have no problem with them watching T.V.

All the more reason for me not to watch television. I cannot stand some of the things on tv, so why watch something I can't stand? I am with you on this. =)

Gotta go....... It's calling me now......
On a serious note, there was a story on the news tonight where a 8 year old girl saved her little sister from a spa & performed CPR on her & saved her life..... & where did she say she learnt how to resuscitate..?? TV..!
So remember, it's not all bad.....

:0 ... It depends.... will you let yourself be brainwashed? I used to... till I grew out of my teens. Now, I can watch all those things and know that it's just tv. None of it is real.
