If animals have feelings, then why do medical experiments on them? Is that wrong?

Yes animals have feelings and it is wrong to kill animals and animal testing for products for human beings. I have been to animal rights rallies and saw movies of some of the things that are done in the name of humans to see if a product is safe to use. What gives humans the right to test animals for our behalf , in my opinion you think with all of todays technology you think that there would be a better way. Or maybe more people with a conscience

I think that animals have more feeling then many people. They can also pick up on you feeling as well. I just sent 4 of my pets to be fixed later today and my other pets are real mopey. Think of the pet that greets it's owner when they come home, that's happiness. One that shies from a stranger is scared. One should never intentionally hurt an animal, but people do. These people should be put in jail for killing animals. Many cities/counties are passing laws regarding criminal activities against animals. People and animals kill them for food, yes, but that's been going on for centuries for survival. Some people hunt to feed their families. I live in WV where hunting is big. Think of a lion or a wolf for example that need to hunt for food. People put animals down due to extreme illness or injury. Shelters need to do the same when people irresponsibly let their cats and dogs breed and don't get them fixed.

Animals have feelings. Watch an aquarium with several different types of fish and you'll soon pick which one is dominant and which aren't. The least dominant are afraid, probably of being hurt.

It is wrong to hurt animals. Animals do get illnesses just as people do. Cats got feline immunodeficiency virus before AIDS was
discovered in humans. Studying the cat illness has helped cats and people.

Animals are broken into predator and prey types. It is part of the natural world to eat animals. I don't, but it's not my place to tell others what to eat. Most people who raise animals genuinely care for them.

I had a friend who raised chickens for slaughter. He raised their food and even did mouth to beak resuscitation when a chicken would choke. He also cut their throats and butchered them.

Yes, they do have feelings, sad, happy, lonely. They are a member of your family and it's terribly wrong to hurt them. And to kill one?.....That's too horrible to even think about. I had a little long-haired chihuahua, named "Girlie." I got her when she was about 4 1/2 weeks old and she was with us until she died at 8 1/2 years old. When she was really excited and happy, she actually smiled, a lot! Most people didn't believe it until they saw her doing it. Cutest thing you ever saw. It will be 2 years March 29 that she died and I still miss her so much. So yes, I agree with you 110%.

Of course I would definately say that they had feelings. Dogs and cats seem to be happy and mad at times and even sad. I think that it is wrong to hurt a animal because they have feelings however you must remember they are not humans and we should not raise them to that level.

Of course animals have feelings, they feel sad, happy, threatened, pain etc. It is wrong to hurt them and kill them. One more higher emotion animals have, which humans are badly lacking is 'gratitude'

Yes animals have feelings and will show you by crying or wagging their tails what they are feeling and it is VERY wrong to hurt them but on the other hand we do need food so the cat is history.

Yes, animals do have feelings and they do express it. They are a living thing, and they should be treated as so. But often there are people who ignore animals and their feelings because they don't care, they are the careless and selfish.

YES--animals have alot of the same emotions we have--a dog or cat will know if we are happy-sad--depressed--and they will tend to show the same emotions we are showing alot of the time and they love us unconditionally whatever mood we are in !!
