Am i lowering my level by giving microphone for people to ask in conference the CEO, although these people are in my department, same as my level and from other departments( management) aswell, knowing that i'm looking also for a higher level in the company thats arranging the conference?

1. Your company is having a conference where the CEO is going to answer questions from the audience.

2. You are going to provide a microphone to the people who are going to ask the questions.

On the contrary, your position is one to be envied. It is a chance to make yourself known to the upper management. What I'd do is prepare a couple of questions in advance. In most Q&As that I've been to, the first question is the hardest to get from the audience. So, be prepared to get the ball rolling.

Make sure that your questions are concise and relevant to your company's future. For example: "Let me kick this off. How can we expand our business into new markets?"
