I heard recently that nearly five pounds of undigested petroleum can be found in peoples' livers by the time they reach age 60. I suggest not using anything on your lips containing petroleum.

Nah, you're all good. I've used lip balm for years and I'm ok. the only time i'll wipe it off is if my b/f at the time isn't into it or doesn't like the taste. otherwise, i'm addicted and use it all the time!

Haha.. Are you serious??! Do you know how many women eat their lipsticks in one life??? Several tonnes!! Not to say lip balm...
Gal, you dun need to remove them... Unless you think you will be tearing the flesh of the chicken frm its bone via your teeth and mouth directly, and risk having lip stick all over your cheek... then plssss remove it...
Eitherwise, if eat as graciously as possible, preventing any contact between then lips and the food thus, hoping none will get into your food and into your internal system...
But even then... nothing will happen though... i've not died.. haha=)

Medicated lip balm (usually containing sun screen or other chemicals) will generally taste pretty nasty if you eat with it on your lips. As far as hurting yourself...that's not a big issue as long as you're not eating a tube of it every meal.
