Who's arguing with you? What makes you think he's a liberal? He's nothing but a sleazy opportunist and charlatan relying on his past association with the late Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. He's not even a nice person; he's just another conniver and demagogue who THINKS that the American Blacks somehow got together and elected him as spokesman!
I have far more respect for Al Sharpton than I do for Jesse "Shakedown" Jackson! Al Shapton is more obvious, not slick and sleazy like Opportunist Jackson!
American Blacks laugh at him; they know he's an opportunist! I HOPE he stays away from Obama... sleazy Jesse Jackson will ruin all chances of a White House bid for Obama!
EDITED: Hey, "nicewknd," I agree with you! Those were White House friends, too! There was an article on Yahoo News shortly before he was disgraced where it said that he called the White House every morning to confer with Dubya! Dubya quickly dropped him like a hot potato!

Edit2: Actually Falwell & Robbertson have lots of power on issues like foreign policy. Why do you think the USA gives so much foreign aid to Israel?? And you do know the reasons for that right? Watch the documentary "Friends of God" on HBO. And I agree I don't like Jackson either....

Well, if anyone has listened to his bull very much, they'd have to be a fool to listen to anything he says! Hes a traitor to the black people as well as anyone else. He has spent years line-ing his pocket with money that should have went else where. That's not to say a lot of well known people aren't guilty of the same thing. But, what a let down he has to be to his own people.

I'm white and I'm not happy about Haggard.
