Kenya is the only non-test playing country which qualified for the semi final in 2003 cricket world cup. They defeated Canada, New Zeland, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Zimbawe in the World Cup 2003 matches.

In the Semi-Final played between India and Kenya at Durban - on March 20, 2003, India defeated Kenya by 91 runs. India scored 270 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 50 overs and Kenya were all out for 179 runs in 46.2 overs.

Kenya had qualified for the semis but it could have been New Zealand becuz they refused to go to Kenya during their game against them.

kenya. they beat sri lanka in the early rounds, but also gained a 'victory' against new zealand when NZ didnt play thier match in kenya due to security concerns. this put them into the super 6 stage with wins against two test nations, SL and NZ
