No.
He was married to three different Latinas: Josephine Alicia Saenz, Esperanza Baur, and Pilar Palette.
According to an interview given by his grandson, Matthew Munoz, a Catholic priest, "He often used to take his boat down to Panama. He was fond of the Latino people and had a real heart for the working people."
He requested that the inscription on his tombstone be a Spanish phrase, "Feo, Fuerte y Formal" meaning "Ugly, Strong and dignified."

I've never heard anything but good things about him. My father met him when he was working in a restaurant in Cali and said he was a really nice and very generous man. He tipped the ENTIRE staff.
