Go to Washington D.C. and go to the Viet Nam Memorial(or any other honoring the fallen military personel) .Stand back read the names of the real Heros.Do this at the Police Memorial too.

Interesting Question ! Some might say a Hero is one who inspires, who you look up to, who accomplishes greatly in the face of adversity. For others a hero may be someone who no matter what, is always there, rock solid in their presence and unfaulteringly going about their lives and caring for others. Both would be people to look up to and could inspire you to greatness in your own life. A Hero may not be a football star, they may be a parent, or a firefighter ( man, weren't they real hero's) giving so much of themselfes and making the ultimate sacrifice like a soldier.
Could the word Hero be related to Japanese kamakazi pilots or the city of Hiroshima ? or does it date further back to latin times ? hope another answer helps with that !

a hero could be anybody. even you could be a hero
a hero is a person that did something thats so good noone else could do. or it could be a person that choose death or an live by
saving someone lives.

Someone who doesn't the extraordinary for others. Charity work or anything do to with unselfishness. Within reason ofcourse.
