Friends are definitely more important and more fun. I have bought a sportsboat with a friend. I have never taken it out alone in 30 trips out. It has been the people that have come on board not the boat itself that has made it so much fun.
Think about hookers v a girlfriend. Its the same question really.
When people think of money they think of the things it will allow them to do, or the things it will allow them to have. I have bought expensive things, but I'd rather have someone show enthusiasm about something than have it just because its expensive and lots of strangers would be impressed. If you can't have fun without money you are in trouble. People in Africa who have nothing fashion a ball together and play soccer

Go to the beach/lake/park and play there. Have a picnic, too! You can also have a movie night at home and play some board games. That's what I usually do with friends when we're all tight on our budgets!

well in my opinion money is more fun ..you can make many friends if you are welthy though ..so you will have fun with your money and friends both ..
