You uninstall programs that you don't use, but don't remove anything if you're not sure because some programs can't be downloaded again.

If you could be more specific it would be a lot easier to answer your questions but there are so many things you can delete the only thing you have to be absolutely sure about is what to do delete. You shouldn't delete any main files that make your computer system work and this is why you have to be sure you know what you are doing. I suggest you look at some of the many excellent websites about computers and read more. Best thing is perhaps is to take some computer lessons, seeing how things are done is easier to comprehend. In the end it really is everyday practice that makes you wiser. You don't want to be deleting important files that run your computer.

A couple of tips:

You can delete things from your recycle bin anything you don't want. If you want to return a certain document or picture back to the ' My Documents' file you have that option in the 'recycle bin' to restore it. Once gone however, it's gone.

You can delete anything ( you don't want) from your email box but it is gone for good after that- if you are not sure about deleting something just send them to your junk bin and you can return it back but before the limited stated time is over- these will empty after a few days automatically.
