lose the negative attitude... that'd probably help a lot. You've been there 3 days and already you're judging it. If you think the only thing to do there is to go to Rundle Mall, then you're sadly mistaken. Adelaide is much better with friends, as you'll find once you make some. The beaches, the national parks (Morilata and Waterfall Gully) are great. The bike paths are fantastic. Other parts of the city are worth exploring and it's nice to get out of the city too and check out McLaren Vale or anywhere else. I have been to Adelaide many times and I find so much to do when I am there.
Being Asian, I think you're "China guyz" comment is not worth mentioning, but I think you've seen a very small section of Adelaide. Adelaide is largely anglo-saxon/european and white. There are far less asians, africans, latins and middle eastern than in any other major city in Australia (or around the world for that matter). Get some perspective, make some friends and try and think positively. If you already have a chip on your shoulder about the place after just 3 days (and thinking Rundle Mall was "it"), then you'll never survive!!
Good luck!

Go to the zoo on the top of the hill -- feed the roos.
Buy a bicycle and ride the many km's of paths in Adelaide.
Join the Tennis gym.
Swim laps at the Next Generation Club.
Go to the ADELAIDE ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE -- any city with IL DIVO performing live can't be called boring!
Go to the market and try some new food.
Get to Rundle Street ... start eating and drinking.
Suck it up princess. We all make our own fun. Adelaide is a great town.

I really feel for u, what about me I have lived here for Thirty years, I am crazy, Cant leave my parents, they need looking after, but when that day ever comes, I'm outta here, its the most boring F*****# City in Australia, I agree with you completely, and the Vietnamese and Cambodians and Chinese and Muslims are everywhere here, ur right!! You walk down Rundle Mall and you wouldnt know u were in Australia, its disgraceful!! I'm really gettin sick of this City and Australia definately isnt what she was. Have to play Spot the Aussie now days. Need to find a new planet I think, but even if I did, the Vietnamese would get there somehow, probably on a Refugee Spaceship,,lol..... Hope the 4 years goes quick for u,,Cheers..

where did you come from? if u think theres a lot of chinese here you should try melbourne, i actually thought i landed in china when i went there!
it seems like you need to get further away from the city. have you tried any of the beaches down south? they are the best ones (port noarlunga, moana, aldinga)
been to marion? or glenelg? you can get the tram to glenelg, nice beach, nice shops,
its hard to recommend stuff if we dont know what you're into?

Give yourself one month and then see if its for you. You are in a prime spot to still travel on weekends.
