The only difference between the two is that in arranged marriage you don’t know the person you are marrying & come to know only after your marriage whereas in love marriage you know the person before marriage. Both the marriages are successful as well failure too. So what is the reason for a successful marriage that is what you should know? The success of a marriage depends on the understanding between the spouses if they understand each others needs, requirements, problems, abilities, disabilities, they can adjust accordingly but if they don’t have proper understanding then even if they had known each other before marriage they won’t be able to live together as spouses. I have seen both arranged as well love marriage successful as well failure so it’s not possible to comment on which way you go, if you know how to manage a married life both ways you will be successful other wise Family courts are always open for you to come to your rescue.

First decide whether you really love a person and the person also loves you. Dont fall in love for the sake of having someone with you and if you do so then please dont get married with the same person unless you are damn sure. Arranged marriage was better in olden days when girls had no career, education and diseases like HIV were uncommon. but today, the things are different and you must know a person very well before deciding to get married to him and in that case there is no reason to fall in love with as he will never show his real color during affair. So better keep a watch like a casual friend and you will understand him better

I wonder when people discuss over Love Marriage or Arrange Marriage " It is just asking a person whether he want to hang or shot himself".

If you want to wash clothes & untencils for whole life in your house, than Love marriage is O.K & If you want to be Boss than arrange Marriage is the Best option.

love in a marriage but then again i am american. i dn't think you are so what do you think? Arranging marriages are not good to me. i mean hey, love is what makes the world go around.

Dear Shishya,
I just want to know whether you are in love or not? If yes, then i prefer you should go for love marriage. As you the person whom you love & want to him as your lifetime partner. Check out with their (boy's) family, wherein you will get to know, whether they are Orthodox type of Free rein type. Confirm all these & go for Love marriage. Otherwise vice versa. Good Luck Shishya.

they say marriage is a bond between two families not just two bodies independently.
so its always better to choose ur love and then let ur parents agree with ur choice or the reverse.
i short every one should be involved and agree for a marriage to be succesfull in all fronts.

Of course arrange marriage and in any case something goes wrong you have someone to blame. If you love someone and then it is hard to deceive yourself as you are responsible to check his/her background while dating.

well from what i know,love come arranged marriage is good,that means you love somebody,and marry with parent's wish.
