1. Send our guys to die over something not worthwhile?
2. Was the only bad guy if he did?
3. Set out to Fool the world by reports others gathered?

Imagine Syria, Iraq and Iran all joining forces for a greater evil??
wasn't it a good idea to split them?? How can all the blame be placed on one??

Has the world gotten so cynical?

Bush was obsessed with Iraq before 9/11 ever happened. We were going to war with Iraq, no matter how much intelligence needed to be manipulated and no matter how shameful it was to tweak the emotions of the American people over 9/11 to get there. Since they found it necessary to support this war with intelligence they knew to be faulty (been paying attn to the Libby trial?) and everything, but EVERYTHING they claimed has turned out to be completely false, what was the real reason for going into this war? And if that reason was so important to the United States and our security why couldn't they just run with the truth from the beginning instead of talking about WMDs and nuclear proliferation and then later, when those turned out to be red herrings, claim it really was to free those poor people from that tyrant Saddam? I think there were more than just one bad guy, or two, involved in this mess, and I think before Bush's time is up we'll know exactly who they were.

Reports others gathered? Now there's an interesting point. Cheney sends Wilson on a mission to Africa to find out if the uranium story is true. Wilson reports back and damn it wasn't what Cheney wanted to hear, no uranium purchase, no truth to the British intelligence report. This information came back to Cheney, as stated under oath by his own assistant, yet we still hear about it months later from our President in the 2003 SOTU address. That uranium story and its connection to WMDs was the crux of their appeal to the American people to support the Iraq War. If anyone believes that Cheney didn't pass along that information to Bush I've got some swamp land to sell them. Cynical? Yes, I've gotten cynical about politicians. Seeing Vietnam and Watergate break our country apart when I was a young adult helped cement that cynicism. But I'm also realistic, and I believe in the old saying that if it walks like a duck and sounds like a duck then its probably a duck.

George really dosnt care what you or i thinks he has an agenda. What has made folks so angry is that he bold face lies to us and then wraps himself in the flag, the worst type of patriot. He cannnot admit his mistakes. The main thing about being a man it was taught to me is to admit when im wrong and take the flack .He wont. I dont care what the stand by him people say he is a coward. And not a man of any integerity. Why do yu guys defend him you woulnt defend a friend if all he did was lie about everything. At least i would think yu would say something to him or just leave the friendship. Why him i dont get it. Is it my Presiden right or wrong?? that is hogwash.
