Depends whether you mean by 'soul mate' some Hollywood idea of 'The one and only' or 'The one put on this earth just to be with you' or a person who is so 'in tune' with you that love - respect - joy stem from being with her/him.

Your soulmate is the person you are destined to be with. I found mine (or rather he found me) at a local bar where we were both performing (we're both singer/songwriter/musicians. We're also both Tauruses. Both very passionate sensitive artistic people). From the moment our eyes met, we knew there was something between us (God that sounds so cliche & cheesy but it's really true!) He said he could tell when he looked in my eyes that I was a passionate soul like him. Although he found me beautiful he said he fell for the being behind my eyes. I thought he was pretty cute too but it was something more. A feeling of kinship. A feeling that we belonged together...I was drawn to him. It was irresistible. I've written several songs about him. He's written songs about me too. I've never dated someone creative like myself. & he's funny & fiercely intelligent. He's been good for me. He challenges me. He inspires me. I know that this was meant to happen & that all my actions in the past year have led me to him (starting a new life moving to a new house in a new community & finding out about this bar for songwriters & then meeting him there...) We're good for each other. Sometimes we have our difficult moments...We're both Tauruses so we can be stubborn & bull-headed at times. You put two bulls together & it can get a little tricky! But we adore each other. No one & nothing else compares.

When you find your soulmate, you just know. It feels right. You fit together like puzzle pieces. You just click...
