My favorite otc prenatal is one source. I tried the generic prenatal at Wal Mart but they were huge and made me sick. Relax, and if you get morning sickness, try small meals, crackers, sprite, or ginger ale. This should help alleviate morning sickness if you get it. Your normal activity is okay as long as you don't overexert yourself if you do super strenuous activity you might calm down your routine until you can talk to your doctor about it. Not many dont's although I would say if you smoke I would cut back and if you can quit quit. If you are fatigued and exhausted don't ignore it. It is the one chance you can pamper yourself. Eat healthy foods all through your pregnancy. Congrats

14 weeks and 5 days pregnant

Grab a prenatal vitamin at your local drug store, eat nutritious foods, keep up (or begin) a low impact exercise routine and relax. There is not a lot a doctor can do for you in the first few months of pregnancy other then keep an eye on everything. Your baby will live off a yolk sac for its first 12 weeks, so even if morning sickness keeps you from eating, your baby has lots of nutrients to keep it healthy. A placenta develops during this time and starts to function on week 12.
Get a few good pregnancy book ( I love the 'Girlfriends guide to Pregnancy') and try BabyCenter.com. You can go to the 'community' section after you register (for free) and join a birth message board to talk to other ladies due the same month as you. Good Luck! Have a great 9 months and Congratulations!!!

Congratulations! Yes, take your prenatal vitamins--get one with a high folic acid amount.

Don't: smoke, take drugs, etc. Don't eat raw foods (including cake batter), more than 12 oz of seafood, hot dogs (100% beef probably okay), and deli meat. Don't take any medication besides tylenol.

DO: Eat as healthy/complete of a diet as you can. Unless you're part of the lucky few, you'll end up with some degree of morning sickness. It's best to get eat as healthily as you can before that comes on--then you eat crackers and broth!

Otherwise, relax & congrats!

Do what your doctor tells you to do and nothing else.
