You simply wouldn't feel the baby at 2 months, seeing as it wouldn't have developed the muscle tone yet. The earliest you could feel it would be 3 months.
I would be willing to bet that you have either an adominal blockage causing pressure in your bowels that feels like fetal movement or an aggitated hernia.

Hmmm, its strange isn't it? Seeing that you are a mother of two I will not talk to you about fetal movement, but if I am understanding your post and you are in fact pregnant, you would only be around 8 weeks. It would be impossible to feel an embryo move at 7-8 weeks, they have not started their little movements yet and do not weigh enough for you to feel them (they are so tiny at 7 weeks gestation that even if you held an embryo in your hand you would be unlikely to feel it moving-were that situation possible.) You could be feeling uterine twinges if it is a pregnancy.
It really does sound like gas or perhaps some lower abdominal spasms. If you are pregnant you should not be having negative HPT's at almost 8 weeks. It can happen, but its not likely. The other thing that could be going on is something called a Corpus Luteal Cyst that can occur on your ovary. The cyst can mimic pregnancy and cause you to miss periods. This is something that would show up on the ultrasound.
Good luck one way or the other, I know waiting is hard!

It could be that she is feeling this way because her body is still adjusting to having a baby recently. Now, it's probably not the same situation for your wife but I'll tell you what happened to me so you can ask a doctor to check her out. I had the same exact thing happen to me in April...all the same symptoms and yes I had missed 3 birth control pills. I had taken 2 tests a month apart and they were negative. I had very bad pains one day and went to the emergency and it turns out I was 10 weeks pregnant with a tubal pregnancy (research ectopic pregnancy) and my fallopian tube errupted. Ask the doctor to send your wife for a blood test, not a urine pregnancy test to really make sure she is not pregnant because when it's ectopic it doesn't show in a simple urine test. Good luck...hopefully this is not what is happening to you!

A friend had the same problem, she was absolutely convinced she was pregnant and said it felt exactly like when she was pregnant with her two children. Pregnancy tests showed negative and eventually she had an ultrasound that showed nothing. It turned out to be gas and after a few days on gas X the symptoms went away. She too had never had gas problems before.

Oh my goodness! The same thing has happened to me too. I have a 22month old so I know what kicks feel like too! Back in Oct last year I started feeling them and I swore I must have been pregas. It still happens but now I just know theres no baby in there! I too have had many tests over the months but all negative. We have been trying too so thats the pain about it all. I put it down to muscle spasms and gas!!

Yes. You may be having some stomach problems. This is the reaction of pills. I think you should go to doctor andget you subjected ultrasound. I think you should not get the advice from intermet as it is very serious and the advice will be uncertified and unconfirmed.

after having babies, gas things can effect you differently
were any c-section babies? mine was and sometimes my stomach actually moves, but im definitely not pregnant. its just gasses.
and they could be phantom kicks. i got those when my son was 4-5 months old. i could swear there was a child in there kicking, but there wasnt.
im sure you arent pregnant, its probably your body just getting used to not being pregnant. it takes a huge toll on us ladies.
