whenever i am in a room that is quiet i hear a buzzing noise. the quieter the room the louder the buzz. this happens all the time, not just after listening to loud noises, such as a rock concert.

It is irritating isn't it???
I have that ailment too...
I have had it for as long as I can remember...
I usually go to bed with a fan on or I leave my TV or radio on just to provide some background sound...
I hate it too, but I haven't found anything over the years that helps...

My family doctor said I was hearing the blood rush through the veins in my head...
I have never tried to do anything about it and I am in my 50's now...
I am not sure if anything can be done or not, but would certainly advise you to check into it...

You have tinnitis, or ringing in the ears. Nothing seriously wrong with you, I've had it all my life and have known others who have it. So far, I know of nothing that can be done about it from the doctors.
