3. The radius of a circle is 7/22 units. Find its circumference.

4. A central angle of a circle is an angle whose vertex is the center of a circle. A 90 degree angle intersects an arc of the circle that has a length that is 1/4 the circumference. Find the length of the arc intersected by a 145 degree central angle of a circle that has a diameter of 8 feet.

1.
circumference= 2.pi.r
=> pi=circumference/(2pi.r)
=>pi= 4.082/4/82=0.8468
(but if the circumference=4.82 then the radius=1)

2.
7/22=0.31818
=> 2.pi.r= (2)(3.14)(0.31818)=2(approximately)

1.circumference=2*3.14*r
4.082/6.28=r
r=.65
2.r=1/2
3. c=2*3.14*7/22
c=2

1.
r = 4.082/(2π) = 2.041/π = 0.6496705

2.
r = 3.14/(2π) = 0.5 (using π = 3.14)

3.
C = 2πr = 2π*7/22 = 2 (using π = 22/7

L = 8π(145)/180 = 20.246 ft.
