I'm a student in High school going with a ambassadorial group(People to people) to the Czech republic, germany, russia, poland, lithuania, and latvia. What is it like? What should I expect. Considering I'm going in summer, what should I bring to wear? How much money?

Travel light, a simple back pack is fine with just a few items. Meetup with folks your age and class. If you need some additional clothing items seek out the second stores for cheap clothing and leave the items behind on the return trip. Travel light, keep it simple

I've only been in Czech Republic.. Well, Czechoslovakia before it was divided into two. Always watch out for pickpocketers but I'm sure that applies everywhere. Make sure you leave your possessions at home if you do not want a chance of getting robbed. Bring as much as possible. It'll be summer over there in Europe, so of course it'll be hot.

Czech Republic because it's in the middle of europe where you can travel country to country like state to state.

No one should travel on less than one hundred US or Euro dollars a day and five-hundred is best, that said, yes money can be tight. Young & personable, clean & respectable, a student type, play your cards right & don't be greedy and things can flow; receptions, birthdays, all sorts of celebrations, get in with the right crowd and food takes care of itself. Weather wise it is wise to have a good lightweight rain jacket & a sweater of two but mostly plan on fifty-five to seventy-five dregrees fahrenheit, similiar to a Pennsylvania Mid-Atlantic states summer. Pack light but at least one nice formal outfit and again, as with food, if you trust and can be trusted, things will flow. Throw some e-mails out to people your age/experience in those countries, start up two or three friendships via each country, don't spring your trip on them the first time, get to know them first -- -- 'bad' people knowing you have a trip coming up might play that to their vantage - -- first get to know those two or three people and then let them know your itinerary, again best to be coy & casual. Things will flow; a person in the places you are planning to visit will know the best places to shop and truly it is better buying a nice outfit there rather than luggng things in suitcases. Speaking of suitcases, if you do buy nice things, mail them to your base address in the USA via a reputable carrier such as UPS or Fedex or (?) same goes with excess clothes if you end up getting the urge to buy an item in each place that you stay! Expect fun, be prepared for everything but bring positive energy with you and you will find fun. Enjoy -- -- --

Peace...
