yeah you know when you get a new computer and all those useless programs are already on it, how do you delete those?

I deleted some through the add or remove programs thing but some of the items i can see on the desktop are not there so, is there some other way of removing these permanatly?

1. If the program is not installed then just select the file and delete it.
2. If the program is installed on PC then got to add/remove program from control panel and remove it.
3. Install program like "Advanced Windows Care" and fine tune and remove all temporary files.

for Advanced WindowsCare see

check your control panel( add/remove). If its there it should delete it from there. if not find program file and look for the uninstall command file.If neither of these works or it reinstalls . Delete it from backup and go to registry(should be under windows and scrool down past the files untill you see the green blocks click and open check all the software files and delete it from there.

*IF* you mean the DESKTOP ICONS are still showing from programs you've deleted...

Just click to highlight the icon then hit the DELETE KEY
