Puff? Lol, no he's not the greatest producer of his time, not even close. There are others out there that are more original than him, make better tracks than him, manages better, and raps better, of course as a business man, he's done a pretty good job.

Scott Storch is the hottest producer right now!! Even though he produced that Paris Hilton nonsense (the poontang is a powerful drug!) I like the Neptunes, Just Blaze, Dark Child, and TImberland (Justin Timberlake's hits and Nelly Furatado).
Take a look at Diddy's rhymes even he says "I don't write rhymes, I write checks!"

Not even close. Take a look at Rick Rubin, he's been producing longer than Diddy has been famous. Also, a lot of artists are producing themselves, and seem to be doing fine.

P.Diddy would be nothing if it wasnt for Notorious BIG. And he profited off of his death which is why he had him killed.....well idk about that part but it is definately speculated by people, there is some reason why notorious BIG's family has no respect for P.Diddy. As far producers yeah hes up there but definately not because of talent.

No, hes just popular. Good ones are Timbaland, Scott Storch and whoever makes these one hit wonder boy bands sound so good when they have no talent (ex. Pretty Ricky)

oh hell no there are so many more producers out there better than him! best hip hop producer of his time... please... dont make me laugh. what about the neptunes, timbaland, dj premier, dr. dre, just blaze, scott storch, swizz beatz... there are so many that diddy would not even have crossed my mind for a top 10!

i really dont think so. I dug him in the early ninties when he was coming up, but i think he is all show now. he really doesnt do the music work anymore, he has people on his pay roll
