I'm writing an essay in Microsoft Word and i forgot to put the space between two words. So i went back, pushed 'space' and it erased the letter in front of it! This also happens when i write another letter behind another letter, that letter replaces the other one.
I need the essay done TONIGHT!!!!
HELP?!

There would be a "Insert" key on you keyboard. Just above the Delete Key.

Press it once and you are done.

Whats happening is the Insert key would allow you to toggel between insert mode and replace mode.

Right now you are in replace mode press the Insert once and you would be in Insert mode. So what ever keys you type in would be inserted instead of replaced.

If you want to go to Replace mode just press the Insert Key once again

If you need further clarifications please get back to me.

You might have the override feature on...at the bottom of the page you will see stuff like Line and column next to that will be a bunch of letters including OVR just double click it to turn it off...should be gray.
